HSR Refresher
OHS Training Course

Course description

Under the OHS Act 2004 (section 67) all elected HSRs and Deputy HSRs after completing an initial course of training,

have an entitlement (for each year they hold office) to attend Refresher training and choose the course in consultation with

their employer.



Under the OHS Act 2004 (section 67) all elected HSRs and Deputy HSRs have an entitlement to attend an annual HSR

Refresher OHS training course and (in consultation with their employer) choose the course they wish to attend.



Course Aims and Objectives

This interactive training course approved by WorkSafe includes relevant case studies and activities and aims to provide HSRs

with the confidence, skills and knowledge to represent their designated work group when raising health and safety

concerns in the workplace.

Entry requirements

Must have completed HSR 5 day initial course.

Units of Study

Assessment Methods

No assessment. To receive a certificate of attendance participants must attend the full day.

Duration

The course runs from 8.30am to 4.30pm.

Training with Mentor

Mentor HR?s training is delivered by qualified and experienced trainers who utilise a range of learning approaches to accommodate different adult learning styles. The course is made interesting through discussing case studies and examining real life workplace experiences.



Mentor Human Resources is approved to deliver the HSR Refresher OHS Training Course.
